G. Douglas Wiley
Executive Director
G. Douglas Wiley, II is an Executive Director of Amstar Group, LLC. Within specific markets, he is responsible for all aspects of Amstar’s office, industrial and retail investments, including underwriting, due diligence, acquisition, development, investment management, transactional structuring, construction supervision and disposition.
Before joining Amstar in 2004, Mr. Wiley was a Principal with The Carlyle Group, in Washington, DC, where he worked in the Transactions Group focusing on contract and joint venture negotiations, acquisition and development due diligence, financing, asset management and disposition efforts, across office, industrial, retail, hotel, telecom and condominium product types.
Prior to that, Mr. Wiley was a Vice President with ProLogis Trust at its European headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where he was responsible for all European acquisition and disposition activities. He also worked at ProLogis’ North American headquarters in Denver, Colorado, where he assisted with the company’s international initiatives in Mexico and Europe, and its North American land acquisition and build-to-suit development programs.
Mr. Wiley graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, with a B.A. in Economics.
